The former Mrs. Louise Gertrude Kempf, she was born in New York and went to Irvington in 1907. Twenty years ago she retired from a sweater knitting business she conducted in her home.
She is also survived by a son, James Doerer, of Irvington, two daughters, Mrs. Otto Mitshke and Mrs. Harry Tammadge of Brooklyn, and seven grandchildren. The funeral will be held from the home Thursday at 9 A.M., followed at 10 by a high mass of requiem at St. Leo's Church, Irvington. Interment will be in Holy Sepulcher Cemetery.

DOERER - On Monday, July 5, 1943, Louise Gertrude (nee Kempf), in her 75th year, wife of Christian, mother of James, Mrs. Harry Tammadge and Mrs. Otto Mitschke, grandmother of James Jr., Eugene, Frank, Helen, and Joseph Doerer, Harry Jr. and Margaret Tammadge. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from her home, 56 Augusta street, Irvington, on Thursday, July 8 at 9 A.M. thence to St. Leo's Church where a High Mass of Requiem will be offered at 10 A.M. Interment at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery.
