• Obituary/Death Notice: Newark Evening News, 6 Nov 1931. 15 Percy Drummond of 3 Emmet street, amateur motorcycle racer fifteen years ago, died yesterday at City Hospital from injuries suffered Sunday when he fainted and fell in a garage at 168 Fouth street.
Drummond was talking to a witness of an accident September 30, 1930, in which the former had been thrown from a motorcycle in Park avenue. Head injuries suffered then were aggraveted by the fall Sunday and death resulted from a fractured skull. The witness was Charles DePerty, proprietor of the garage.
Drummond was the holder of many cups won in motorcycle races. He gave up racing in 1916, but continued his interest in motorcycles.
He was born April 12, 1881, in Somerville, and married Miss Hazel Clark of Newark in February, 1904. He is survived by four children, Hazel, Russell and Howard of the Emmet street address and Mrs. Edna Kohlman of Irvington.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

DRUMMOND - On November 5, 1931, Percy A., husband of Hazel Clark Drummond. Funeral services will be held at his home, 3 Emmet street, Monday afternoon, November 9, at 2 o'clock. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
