Noted events in his life were: • Immigration: to America in 1635 in the ship Increase. 1 • Research Notes: Rogers, James of New London, Connecticut. 3 "The parentage of James Rogers has not been ascertained and the place and date of his birth are unknown. Many of his descendants firmly believe the tradition that he himself said he was the great grandson of John Rogers the martyr.
