Otis. 1 "Deacon Joseph Otis married Elizabeth, daughter of David Little of Scituate, Massachusetts, great grandson of Richard Warren, who came to this country on the Mayflower in 1620. Elizabeth was also a descendant of William and Alice Mullins, who also came to America on the Mayfower, and whose daughter, Priscilla, achieved notoriety by asking Joh Alden why he did not speak for himself. Also, by other lines, Elizabeth was connected with early pilgrim families so that her children had five ancestors on the Mayflower."
