• Obituary/Death Notice: Cape Cod Times, 10 Dec 1990. ⁸ Bennett G. Stusse, 88, retired proprietor of two Hyannis rooming houses and Mid-Cape building contractor, died of emphysema Sunday at his daughter's home in Cotuit.
He was the husband of Marie (DeCicco) Stusse, who died in 1968.
Born in Irvington, N.J., and raised in Bellingham, Mr. Stusse lived in Mendon before moving to Hyannis in 1944.
During the late 1940's and early 1950's, he owned and operated the Capt. Thomas E. Gray House and The Evergreens rooming houses.
Mr. Stusse then worked as a building contractor in Hyannis, Yarmouth, and Dennis.
He lived in the Yarmouth area before residing most recently with his daughter, Deborah Anderson, of Cotuit.
Surviving are another daughter, Mary T. Pena of Melbourne, Fla.; four sons, James F. of Melbourne, Fla., William F. of Yarmouthport, Michael B. of West Barnstable and David C. Stusse of Westford; two sisters, Anna Divoni of Fanwood, N.J., and Barbara DeForest of Georgia; 10 grandchildren, a great-granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. today in Ancient Cemetery, Yarmouth.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 11 at 1 p.m. in Ancient Cemetery, Yarmouth. Visiting hours are omitted.
