She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Helen E. Doerer, with whom she lived, four sons, Frank of Linden, Alfred of Carteret, Anton of Woodbridge and Emil Ulman of Metuchen; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Teyka of Bound Brook, and Mrs. Sadie Jirinec of New York; a brother Wiliam Jedlicka of Bryan, Conn.; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Chales was arrested and arraigned this morning in the Third Precinct Court on a technical charge of manslaughter, later being turned over to the prosecutor's office, where bail will be arranged. The police said that Chales was not driving fast and that Ulman did not notice the machine until too late to escape. Ulman was forty-three years old. His body was taken to Mullin's morgue.

She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Woodbridge. She was a volunteer for the Heart Fund in Middlesex County and was a member of various Ladies Auxiliaries, including the National Guard.
Her husband, Anton E. Ulman, died on Feb. 15, 1976.
She is survived by three daughters, Maryann K. Binder of Palmer, PA., Cheryl S. Lopez of Bethlehem, and Antoinette D. Carroll of Franklin; a son, John T. of Woodbridge; two sisters, Ethel Pektor of Lake Alfred, and Irene Moore of Upper Black, Eddy, Pa.; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, three brothers, Chester, John and Philip, and a grandson all died earlier.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wedneday at Grace United Methodist Church, 404 E. Mountain Ave., Pen Argyl, Pa. There will be a viewing from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Guerro & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 126 E. Pennsylvania Ave., Pen Argyl. Burial will be private.
